Trey has over 20+ years in the accounting and advisory profession having previously worked as a partner at Dent Moses, LLP, where he specialized in dental practice accounting, finance, tax, benchmarking, and practice transitions. Trey founded Whitt Accounting & Advisory, LLC in 2021 to focus exclusively on the business and financial needs of dentists and dental practice managers.

Trey has been married to his wife Shondra for 24+ years. Shondra is a retired high-school volleyball coach and she actively volunteers with the Greater Birmingham Humane Society. Their daughter Morgan attends the University of Alabama-Birmingham, where she is pursuing a degree in marketing.

I've cycled Florida from north to south two times and Iowa from west to east once.

I've run 30 marathons and ultramarathons, including the 2018 Boston Marathon in 30mph headwinds and nonstop rain.

I passed all four sections of the CPA exam in one attempt.

Mandy possesses a profound understanding of our client's requirements and has an extensive 24-year tenure within the dental profession, with 14 years dedicated to dental hygiene practice. She holds a National Board Certification in Dental Hygiene and maintains the status of a Registered Dental Hygienist. Furthermore, her prior professional roles have included dental office management, active involvement in practice transitions and ownership transfers, which often involved the complex process of recredentialing.

At Whitt Accounting and Advisory, LLC, Mandy assumes responsibility for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and providing in-office consulting services related to dental practice management. Her educational background includes an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Wallace State Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Health Administration, awarded by Faulkner University in 2023.

Mandy, along with her husband Justin, who have celebrated 23 years of marriage, are proud parents to two accomplished grown children: Claire, a graduate of Calhoun Community College with accreditation as a Dental Hygienist, and Aaron, currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Maintenance, set to graduate in the upcoming Spring. Notably, Justin is a respected figure within their local community, serving as the Police Chief, with an impressive 25-year career in law enforcement.

FAST FACTS ABOUT MANDY:
I have am sucker for animals in need. My home is filled with furbabies, 2 boxer rescues (one of which has 3 legs, and one that is deaf) a black lab that is afraid of himself. I have 4 rescue cats one to include a munchkin cat.

I love the water! You will find me in my spare time bass fishing on Wheeler Lake, Guntersville or Smith Lake.

When I’m not fishing at home, the beach is calling my name. Beach by day and fishing by night for speckled trout.
